With proper care and maintenance, our clay springtail cultures are designed for long-term productivity, continuing to reproduce for up to a year or more. Our high density (++) cultures allow for a rapid response to mold or fungal imbalances within terrariums, helping protect plants and other flora—without the risk of introducing or housing mites.

These are our highest-density springtail cultures, built for immediate effectiveness and long-term stability in bioactive systems.

Unlike nutritionally inert substrates commonly used in commercial cultures, our clay medium supports sustained microbial activity, reducing the need for constant intervention and providing a reliable backup population for ongoing terrarium maintenance.
